The Sunday Offering recipient for May is Cocoon House, a non-profit organization that empowers young people, families, and the community to break the cycle of homelessness through outreach, housing, and prevention. It
operates emergency and long-term shelter services at four locations in the Everett area.

Last year it served 307 teens in its emergency shelters, of whom 86 percent exited to safe housing. From the Transitional Home and Home for Teen Mothers 70 percent exited into safe housing; the rest remain housed with the group.

Contributions to Cocoon House help provide critical services to overcome and prevent teen homelessness and have a positive impact on the lives of disadvantaged and at-risk youth
