Donate household items, baked treats, and plants

Clean out those closets, attics, and garages, and bring your treasures to the church beginning Sunday, April 28 right after the second service. No rummage can be accepted after noon on Wednesday.

We welcome clean, usable clothing, linens, household items, small appliances, small pieces of furniture, jewelry, sports equipment, pictures, toys, and books. And of course, the Kitchen Café will appreciate donations of baked goods and the plant shop will need potted plants to sell.

Unfortunately, there are some things we can't accept: textbooks, encyclopedias, automotive goods and tires, computer equipment, and non‐regulation baby equipment. If you have a large piece of furniture to donate, you must label the item with your name, address, and phone number, and agree to remove it yourself on Saturday afternoon if it doesn't sell. If you have questions about what is acceptable, contact Virg Rayton.

Volunteering

Of course, we always need lots of help to pull this off. Volunteer signup sheets will be in the Narthex every Sunday in April, so be sure to sign up even if you have only a couple of hours to spare. And for you folks who don't like to sort and price, perhaps you'd like to bring lunch to the workers one day during the week. There is something for everyone to do!
