Electronics and fluorescent bulbs

The Social Concerns Committee provides recycling bins in the closet at the south end of the Atrium. Currently, you can recycle

  • cell phones
  • batteries (regular and rechargeable)
  • printer cartridges (small only)
  • compact fluorescent bulbs  (Please put the bulbs in a paper sack to prevent them from breaking. You’ll find some bags in the drawer.)

Magazines

The Library Committee provides shelves where people exchange magazines. The shelves are in the Narthex in front of the name tags. If you have a magazine that you no longer want, just leave it here. You are welcome to keep any magazines that interest you.

Eyeglasses and hearing aids

The Lions Club provides a recycling box for eyeglasses and hearing aids. Look for the box on the magazine recycling shelves. EUUC has contributed over 200 pairs of eyeglasses to this Lions Club project.
