What is a discussion list?

A discussion list is an email distribution list that people join. When a member of the list emails a message to the list address, all the members get the email. Non-members may also send messages to the list, but the moderator must approve the email before it goes to the group. This eliminates spam.

In addition to the pages you can access from the left navigation bar, each list has a few system-generated pages. For each of these links, substitute the name of your discussion list for ListName.

From the Member Options Login page, you can log in to get the Member Configuration page where you can choose custom settings.

Is the e-News a discussion list?

No. Although we subscribe to the e-news, it is not a discussion list, because messages can only come from church to people. Subscribers cannot send messages to the e-News list.

Do I need to subscribe with my euuc.org email address?

No. Church leaders, which include committee chairs, committee members, and group leaders, have church email addresses ending with @euuc.org. You should subscribe to a discussion list with whichever address you want to receive and send messages.
