INFORMATION FOR CONGREGATION MEMBERS
The success of the sale depends on volunteers and donations. We needs volunteers for many jobs during the week before the sale, during the sale and cleaning up right after the sale. There will be opportunities to sign up for rummage sale jobs between services every Sunday in April and/or on Signup Genius, an online scheduling tool. We appreciate all help, whether you have an hour or many days to volunteer.
Donations are the other important factor in the success of the rummage sale. Our donation guidelines are listed below. The main thing to consider when donating items is whether you would be willing to buy the item yourself, ie. Is the condition good enough that you would be willing to pay for it.
There are several ways to dispose of items that are no longer useful. Goodwill and Value Village do threadcycling; they accept worn out linens, towels, clothing, and shoes that are no longer saleable. Please Google threadcycling to find more information about this method of disposing of old items.
There is limited storage (not at church) prior to April 28th so message rummage@euuc.org if you cannot hold goods until then
