The Supreme Court has just walked back the rights of over half the people in our country and now women’s bodily autonomy is controlled by politicians. Women will now have to compromise their health, undergo great financial stress, live months if not years with the consequences of rape, give up a child they bore, or have a child born into suffering. In short, women will suffer and so will their families. 

Advocates for Women have made Reproductive Justice our main objective for the past few years in preparation for a day that we hoped would never come. We must transform our sadness and anger into compassion in action.
