As we embark on our annual pledging campaign for the 2025-2026 budget year, we renew our commitment to our values through action. Last year we launched our new model of “holistic stewardship,” elevating our declarations of service on par with our critical financial pledges.
The Board of Trustees has an ambitious plan for the road ahead, most recently celebrating bringing our Director of Religious Exploration, Alanna Deroschers, to full time to meet the needs of our blossoming community of families. All of our staff, like Alanna, are providing essential services to this congregation and deserve dignified wages and well maintained facilities to work in. Moreover, they need our help and partnership to deliver on their important work.
Service is a core component of congregational life and takes many forms. From a smiling face holding open the door, to teachers in classrooms and activists in the streets–we need each other. Very often service is behind the scenes, deliberating in board rooms or pouring through a spreadsheet at a computer. Whatever the act, our pledges and our service make it possible.
Please consider a 10% increase in your financial pledge for the 2025-2026 operating fund to meet this moment. Complete the online form at EUUC.org/pledge by: April 13.
