Symbol for EUUC

With Rev. Eric Kaminetzky’s retirement from serving as EUUC’s Settled Minister, our congregation is entering a journey that will take us through three different types of ministry, one after another.

First, our Board of Trustees chose members of the congregation to act as a transitional search committee to find a Minister to work with us from January of 2025 through July of 2025. And that work has been completed. Rev. Nancy Reid-McKee has taken the role of consultant specifically finding ministers or professionals to lead the Sunday morning services. She will also be available for Memorial Services or other services as needed and will be compensated for these additional services at the UUMA recommended rate.

Our Interim Minister search has completed! Rev. Natalie Malter has accepted the offer to be our Interim Minister. She will help us take a look at where we have been as a congregation, where we are now, and where we hope to be going. That work will aid us in gaining a better understanding of our strengths, talents, interests, and experiences. We will also be in a better position to find a good match for our next Settled Minister. And we must clearly and authentically describe our current ministry as we begin working to create our next Settled Ministry.

Rev. Natalie has consented to be with us for the next two years to help us prepare to search for our next Settled Ministry.

Please know that along with Rev. Natalie Malter, our Board, our Committee on Ministry, our Arms Around Committee, our Staff, and our Search Team will be working together to ready us for our search and call for a new settled minister.
