Imagine a hall full of justice-seeking UUs from across the region!  …  Imagine YOU are one of them!

We are thrilled to be hosting the 8thannual NW UU Justice Summit.  We hosted the first one, when it was a fledgling idea that attracted 88 participants!  Clearly UUs wanted to connect, to empower their justice work – and they have continued connecting, through the Network and subsequent Summits.

The 2018 UU Justice Summit offers something for everyone – a “Programs that Work” Justice Fair in the early morning, whole-group presentations, and afternoon issue-group breakout sessions so you can meet others working on the issues that call to you.  The Justice Fair begins at 7:30 a.m., and the Summit welcome by EUUC ministers begins at 9:00 a.m.

This year the focus is on rekindling and recommitting our individual and collective work for justice, and launching a new organization that will focus on action and advocacy. You will learn about promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in your justice work, and understanding the intersectionality of issues.

The NW UU Justice Summit information site provides full information about the schedule, goals, childcare, and even homestay information if you’re coming from out of town.  If you decide to attend, please register!

Calling all volunteers!

If you are a member or regular visitor of EUUC, we need your help, to offer a warm welcome!  From setup to cleanup, food prep and serving, there is a spot for you! Contact Cindy Creager or email socialjustice.rsvp@euuc.org.
