Puget Soundkeeper is the Sunday Offering recipient for April.  Their mission states, “Puget Soundkeeper’s mission is to protect and enhance the waters of Puget Sound for the health and restoration of our aquatic ecosystems and the communities that depend on them.” They accomplish this mission in many ways including monitoring Puget Sound water quality, helping set strong policies and regulations that protect our waterways and our health, enforcing environmental regulations and engaging citizens and businesses in waterway cleanups and recovery projects. 

This April we will celebrate the 52nd Earth Day. It seems appropriate that we support the work of cleaning the waters in and around the Salish Sea. As Puget Soundkeeper is kicking off eight months of celebration, reflection, and action in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Clean Water Act, let us support this organization that directly aligns with our mission for “living our vision of a just and sustainable world.”
