Songs for a Summer Day: Dave and The Dalmatians join Otto Cantanti held July 22nd in Chapman Hall
We’re sending a big Thank You to Otto Cantanti and Dave and the Dalmations for the wonderful concert on July 22. We got to hear beautiful music and give Susan our best wishes for her looming retirement. And thanks to the generous donations by those who attended, we raised over $1750 for Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and Northern Idaho. These funds will help this organization continue providing reproductive health care in an area where few services are available. Advocates for Women and Sunday Offering were proud to co-sponsor this benefit concert.
Dave and Dalmatians, a Seattle-based men’s vocal group, joined Otto Cantanti, Susan’s group, in a benefit / goodbye concert here in Chapman Hall on July 22 at 3 p.m. The Dalmatians performed songs from Croatia, crossing sea and land into Italy, Spain and beyond; Otto Cantanti is sang variety of music from Monteverdi to Billy Joel. Co-sponsored by Advocates for Women and the Sunday Offering Committee, the proceeds will benefit Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and North Idaho.
