Budget process
The Finance Committee, after consulting with church committees, creates a budgeting process and a proposed annual budget. The proposed annual budget is presented to the Board for approval prior to presentation to the congregation for approval at a congregational meeting.
The congregation evaluates, modifies, if desired, and approves the budget. The Board and the Finance Committee consult the congregation-approved budget as an advisory budget throughout the next year.
The Finance Committee monitors committee expenditures based on the congregation-approved budget.
