EUUC is hosting the NW UU Justice Summit on October 20!

EUUC helped launch the NW UU Justice Network, which has been connecting justice-seeking UUs across the region since 2011.  We are thrilled to be hosting the annual NW UU Justice Summit again, and invite you to register to attend – as well as, to volunteer!

Please help us offer a warm EUUC welcome by volunteering to setup, cleanup, or prepare or serve a light breakfast and lunch. Email Cindy Creager at socialjustice.rsvp@euuc.org. (You do not need to attend the Summit, to help us host!)

You can be part of NW UU Justice history, by helping us to host this Summit. Our ministers will be opening the day, and then there will be full-group sessions around the topic “Evolving for Justice.” The NW UU Justice Network is merging with the UU Voices of Washington, to form JUUstice Washington. There will be presentations on effective advocacy, and how we can use the tools of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) to identify and respond to systems of privilege and oppression in our justice efforts and everyday lives.

In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to choose one of seven issue groups, and meet with others who share your passion in the topic. It is truly invigorating to sit in Chapman Hall with 100 other justice-seeking UU’s from across the northwest.

You can learn more about this year’s Summit on the NW UU Justice Summit information page. Follow the links there to register.
