Washington Kids in Transition is the Cause of the month for September.  Washington Kids in Transition is committed to providing basic needs to homeless children and their families so that they can live life without worrying about where they will sleep or what they will eat.  They serve children who are in the Edmonds School District and the Everett School District by providing food, emergency closets, motel vouchers, and transportation vouchers. Their goal is to remove stressors that can keep homeless students from attending school. Kids should not have to worry about where they will sleep or what they will eat.

Your Community Engagement Committee thanks you for supporting this organization. Their work for the youngest members of our immediate community is a vital part of the Edmonds Unitarian Universalist Congregation’s mission of living our vision of a just and sustainable world.
