The June Cause of the month is the Shoreline Community College Foundation. Shoreline Community College Foundation (SCCF) is “dedicated to increasing student access and success through raising funds, building partnerships, and advocating for students and the college.”
The Shoreline Community College Foundation raises money to support innovative academic programs, student scholarships, and student emergency assistance at Shoreline Community College. Support to SCCF transforms lives and turns dreams into reality by giving someone the chance to better their life through education. Education and training lead to living-wage jobs, and living-wage jobs help lift people out of the low-wage poverty cycle.
The funds donated by EUUC will be used to support student emergency assistance. The Student Emergency Assistance fund supports childcare, food, medical, required bills, and transportation for students experiencing an emergency.
Please help support the Foundation in this important work of reducing economic barriers for students working towards their college degree.
