We will gather for worship for all ages on November 30th and together explore the meaning of worship and liturgy. The origin of worship comes from Old English and translates into the condition of being of worth, or value. It is both a noun and a verb and to honor that which is of supreme value, we create the liturgy (the order of worship). The root of liturgy is the work of the people. In every sense, Unitarian Universalism calls us to work together to lift up what is of value and worth. Thus, this Sunday, we will create the liturgy collaboratively, both for those in person and those online. Be prepared to participate with ideas, favorite hymns, readings, stories.
